You can live a life free from demonic oppressions! This free devotional will show you how.
We have learned that according to the Bible, God created two types of spirits in all the creation: the groom and bride spirits. There is only one groom spirit (Lucifer), and the rest are bride spirits. Man was created as a servant spirit, different from other spirits, but God wanted to give him a spiritual existence. Therefore, He planted a garden in the east, in Eden, and put him there to work and care for it. In the middle of the garden, He put the tree of Life and the tree of Knowledge of good and evil.
Unfortunately, the serpent deceived Eve to eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil in disobedience, and she also gave it to her husband. They sinned, and man became like all the other spirits who could not live alone. (Genesis 3:22 NIV) Man’s spirit became two daughter spirits due to that fruit: the good daughter spirit (good conscience) and the evil daughter spirit (evil conscience). The serpent (spirit of sin) bonded with the evil daughter spirit through the evil part of that fruit-producing life in the evil nature. So, they became naked (sinners) before God. (Genesis 3:6–11 NIV) The evil nature dwells in man, and his descendants are born sinners; as it is written, “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23 NIV)
The spirit of sin bonded with the evil bride spirit, creating a sinful nature within man. This sinful nature allows for the bonding of other evil spirits (demons) with man. It’s important to note that the spirit of sin is not a possession, but rather, a part of man’s nature. This is illustrated by referencing, “The mark of the beast is as the number of man.” (Revelation 13:18 NIV)
Like with a SIM card, the evil world gains access to humankind through this spirit. Demonic activities occur through this spirit as it is their groom. A person possessed by a demon has other bride spirits within them but only one groom spirit. Demonic possessions are, in fact, spiritual covenants. Through these covenants, these evil natures act through the soul. The soul is like a spiritual house, so, in Israel, there were ceremonial cleansings for unclean houses. (Leviticus 14:55 KJV) All these bride spirits are bonded to the spirit of sin and it can act through any of them, which is why, sometimes, the possessed person does not even remember some of the evil they did. This is because the groom spirit did not act through the evil nature of man but through other bride spirits (demons). That is also why there is a switch during deliverance, and the spirit of sin acts or speaks through the other bride’s spirits. After deliverance, the person does not even remember what happened nor what they were saying during deliverance because the groom spirit was acting through these other bride spirits. The people talking are those behind these covenants.
Unlike all angelic spirits, the good daughter spirit represents a spirit of rest rather than struggle. Only Christ can bond with this spirit; no one else can take part in this union. When we repent, Christ becomes our groom and brings new life to the good nature within us. As a result, we no longer have the spirit of sin within us. These demons or spirits can’t engage (trade) with us as the evil daughter spirit (evil nature) is dead within us. (Revelation 18:11–17 NIV)
Therefore, these demonic covenants (sins, oaths, curses, familiar links, etc.) have no claim over you because their client is dead, and you are the New. No spirit can be in covenant with you because we are already in covenant with God. And we are a spirit of rest, unlike all other spirits in creation. Anything they claim is a lie, so denounce it and cast them out. You do not need to break the covenant, except for unbelievers (or ignorant believers), because once you truly repent, all things are made new and the old things have passed away.
We are the good daughter spirit, the queen of righteousness. These evil forces do not belong here. So, show that your mind has been renewed and assert the truth by casting them out. There is no need to fight or argue with these spirits because they know they are not supposed to be there, except your ignorance (darkness) gives them a hold on you.
Cast them out. If you have trouble doing that, seek assistance from young believers and witness their boldness. (Mark 16:17–18 NIV)
There are no mighty or small demons here. The main issue is recognizing that the covenants (agreements) have been broken, unless the person is not a Christian.
We have authority, as it is written, “Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 18:18 NIV). But you will be like your Father, who respects all covenants; let that person repent and restitute. Don’t be part of their mess, for humans are very cunning. (1 Timothy 5:22 NIV)
Do not rush to break covenants or agreements that are not already broken in the heavens. Those people and their friends (demons) are playing games with you.
Embrace who you are and live in the power of the resurrection. Walk in the authority of the new you.
Every demonic possession takes place in the evil daughter spirit, so how is it that Christians experience demonic activities? Some of these covenants remain with you even after you repent, until you realize they are not supposed to be there. This knowledge can come through a sermon or deliverance.
We accepted Christ by faith; these are the signs. (Mark 16:17–18 NIV)
It is also written, “The kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” (Matthew 11:12 KJV) We live by spiritual understanding.
The knowledge of our identity in Christ is power. You don’t need to force or stress it out. Once you have the proper knowledge, it will automatically become your new reality. No one sees the light and remains in darkness—that is the rule unless you did not see the light.
The true light will illuminate everywhere and expose the darkness. These evil activities will cease without any struggle, as it is written, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32 NIV) The knowledge of the truth will automatically dispel them unless you misunderstood it.
We are Christians and untouchable because we are guiltless in the spiritual realm. There is no sorcery nor divination against the Christian identity. (Numbers 23:10, 11, 23 NIV)
We know that there are some Christians who are specialists in the business of pulling down family altars and shrines:
Firstly, anyone who identifies themselves with a family altar or shrine here on Earth is guilty of genealogy links and is open to all spiritual accusations (spiritual attacks). You are providing them with the weapons they need to harm you.
Secondly, there is no single physical altar in Christianity. According to 1Corinthians 6:19 (NIV), man is considered the temple, and his heart is the altar of God. The Holy Spirit is said to continually burn within man’s heart, much like the continual burning of the lamb on the altar, as described in Leviticus 6:13 (NIV). This is why the altar’s stones were natural, as mentioned in Deuteronomy 27:5–6 (NIV). In essence, one’s heart is the altar of God in Christianity. The lamb of God (Christ) is on the altar, and the Holy Spirit is continually burning.
Even the altars in your churches are not altars but tables. The temple of God is within man, as it is written, “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it.” (John 2:19 NIV) This is also why the Israelites were given the feasts of the Tabernacles, which, by interpretation, means God will dwell in movable houses (human beings) – no more in a building made with hands ( Nehemiah 8:14,NIV; Zechariah 14:16-18 ,NIV; Hosea 12: 9, KJV).
